Ok so we were just contemplating hiring a camper van for the great ocean road when we had a call about some fruit picking work out in the country. So we leave Melbourne on Monday for a place called Shepparton which is a couple hours north of here where we've got at least 3 weeks work picking nashi pears. Not sure if we'll have internet access up there or phone signal but if no one hears anything in about 2 months....maybe start worrying!

Dad Just caught up with your blogs. Re Sumo:- they weren't throwing flour, you muppet, they were throwing salt to "purify the ring". Don't work too hard; post some pics when you can. Wish I could do the Neighbours tour! xx
mum update for all they are in a holiday park called the big 4 sheparton working on a farm could be a few days before any contact but all is well

emma holmes hey loads of my friends did work out in shepparton! hard work but good craic. right. right?!?! haha hope ur enjoying it still... and trust me after seasonal work u will not wanna ever see a pear again. i cannot even bear to be in the same supermarket aisle as a kiwi fruit ;) xx
