Looking from the beach towards the many high rise sky scrapers that make up Surfers Paradise. This is the number 1 holiday destination for Australians. Lee and I had different views of the place. They were just setting up for the Indy Rally when we were there last week. The Indy Rally is like Formula 1 Grand Prix (like Monte Carlo etc) version in Oz. The streets were had concrete and steel barriers and spectator seating along the roads in preparation for the race that takes place anually and will start in 2 weeks time.
