Arrived in Phnom Penh late afternoon on 30th Nov, another Tuk Tuk ride from the airport to hotel - roads are even crazier than Bangkok! There are motorbikes, bicycles, cars, tuk-tuks and pedestrians all jostling for positions on the road - very entertaining.

Hotel - lovely!
Dinner the 1st evening - not sure this was a highlight but has to be told. Ordered some sushi and fried chicken for dinner but got some free starters beforehand, which were local dishes so of course we tucked right in...a little afraid but we should have been very afraid to put it mildly. Tastes I can't even explain, especially the fish soup (Andre describes it as fish guts in dirty water - YUK!) We had a good laugh though :)
Sight seeing - in the TT again and our driver took us all around the city, as there is actually quite a lot to see. Most bizzare spot of the day was a baby (prob about 1 year old), sitting on the back of his moms bike, holding on to her as she road through the crazy roads - don't know how they teach them to hold on like that but they do!!!!
Khmer Rouge - Visited the killing fields and the memorial they have for all those that died under Pol Pot's rule. Very sad place to visit but glad we did, as we learnt quite a bit about what happened here which is just shocking.
Royal Palace, Museum, Wat Phnom - all a big WOW!!!
Market - same same but different - mamanged to get another pair of sunglasses to replace the ones I lost :)
Early to bed, early to rise as we were catching our ferry to Siem Reap...
