"Keep it very clean and your mouth shut in swimming pools".
Always a good idea I think...Have fun. XXX
Mum
Hiya I am back from spain with a tan probably not as good as yours. Good to know you are braver than me.Keep it very clean and your mouth shut in swimming pools .It is only a temp measure and you dont want it infected. VERY WELL DONE.
Josie
Phew! I was so relieved to hear that your visit to the dentist went well, and agree totally with your dad's suggestion for the train. Keep well Leanne X

Hi Leanne. Hope the toothache's gone now the abscess has been drained/root canal filled or whatever you had done; once the anaesthetic wears off (and assuming your stomache's working A1 again)you should be able to start enjoying the deep fried spiders again! It was good to talk to you earlier; you seemed to be following Monty Python's advice and looking on the bright side. Keep it up and enjoy the rest of the trip. Don't forget provisions for the overnight train journey; I recommend a whole roast chicken, a nice botttle of wine and a few bottles of beer...

Hi Leanne, hope everything went OK at the dentist? I'm amazed at the prices and hope they can afford to sterilise their equipment. . .
Here's hoping that it puts an end to the problem so that you can continue enjoying your incredible journey. X
Cathleen
hey you,
hope your doing fine and enjoying the hotel stay!
probably flucloxacillin or penicillin you had for your tooth. if your course was only seven days and its hurting again maybe best to carry on them for a bit longer (10-14 days in total of antibiotics). double the dose will be stronger thats all. Might make u feel unwell but would be ok to take a higher dose if that is the antibiotic u had?
anyway good luck with it u migth need to see a dentist pronto when your back if it gets worse.
Im just at home in aberdeenshire, my mum and dad moving to oz with dog this thurs :0( its a bit strange. Weather good, lots of sun and they gave me their car so now driving i swish silver mitshubishi (which i cant spell.....yet)
when u back? ill take you for a spin :0)
take care, love cath xx

hi leanne,
hope the stomach and tooth are holding up ok now: it sounds like you're having a pretty full-on time of it all anyway, without having to fit toothache and diarrhoea into the schedule.
it's great to be able to follow what you're up to (or, in some cases, 'going through') so keep up the blogs - remember, vicarious travel is the closest some of us are going to get to the real thing for a while so we're relying on you!
i hope you've had lots of r&r the last couple of days to set you up for the next leg of your trip. and listen to your mum: wear your hat!
take care and keep enjoying it,emma x x x

hello dude,
hope you alright, and swimming! sounds like a hard day so hope you get a bit of chillax time soon.
Im on nights still, quite surreal but luckily all quiet at 04.30am, cos all i wanna do is sleep. That beach you visitied sounds lovely, a day listening to the waves would be right up my street right now :0)
take care of yourself, x cath x
Dad
Hi Leanne, glad you've surfaced again.
PP sounds as if its hit you the way Kathmandu did me, even to the monkeys using the telephone wires to cross the roads. Its weird how somehow the magic of the place manages to emerge despite the squalor of the surroundings.
It must have been a tough day, visiting the Killing fields and all, but I think it would have been wrong to go to Cambodia and not acknowledge its recent history; much respect for doing so, and its really good to hear that you're starting to recover your health.
I was nearly feeling sorry for you there for a minute!

Hi leanne. Hope you've been back to full health or somewhere near it since your last posts. By the way they've been a bit far apart now. What the hell do you think you're doing just going off and enjoying yourself rather than sitting in an internet caff. Bloody cheek if you ask me. xxx
Cathleen

Thanks for your voice message just before you got on the plane....aaah! cant be as scary as cabin 23/24, but sounds like your getting toughen up, hard core style. It sounds exciting, i would love to be with you.
