LAST JOURNAL ENTRY EVER! well, after Chiang Mai we made our way over (by a propellor aeroplane! We've now done 3!) to islands off the South East coast of Thailand. We first went to Koh Samui which was a chilled beach resort with lovely restaurants...yes we ate a lot! The evenings were pretty cool, there were lots of bars and clubs which were good, and everywhere we looked there were hundeds of Israelis! We could have been in Israel. We also seemed to attract them...probably because of Lauras star of David! After about 3 nights in Koh Samui we made our way by ferry to the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. We all LOVED this island it was so much fun. All we did for about 6 days was get up, walk 3 steps to the beach from our beach side hut, sunbath, swim in the sea, eat lunch (if we were up in time!), got shopping, go out for dinner, go out to the clubs in the evening. The bars were amazing! They were on the beach so we sat and drank on mats on the beach and then at around 1am when everything got started we danced in the sand. It was sooo cool. They had the most incredible flame throwers we used to watch every night. Average bed time was around 5.30am. So good. One evening we stayed up to watch sunrise at 6.30am. It was the best time EVER! We did not want to leave as you can imagine. The whole town was full of backpackers so we met some gr8 ppl. Now we are in Bangkok after getting the most horrendous flight. The plane took off so so fast and then when we still were climbing we stopped. It was sooo scary the whole plane was on edge. Landing was also not gr8. Give me easyjet anyday! Although we did arrive 30 mins early. So Bangkok is gr8. We've shopped alot and also done some sightseeing. We've seen the palace which is so pretty and the reclining Buddha - the largest Buddha in the world (i think!), it's huge! We also went to a floating market which i enjoyed although we had to be on a boat to get there (obviously, hence the floating!) and i don't know why stupid me went cause it was not fun! Thought the boat was gonna capsize it was tippping so much! But once we got to the market we could also walk around the canal to buy stuff from the boat sellers thank g-d i didn't want to stay on that boat. Anyway, today we've done more shopping and tonight we're gonna watch the football and go out for a nice dinner. See u all soon! Much love, L xxxx
