From Nadi we got a 4 hour bus to Suva and then a 19hour ferry to Taveuni which was seriously hot due to the air con not working, so it was hard to sleep at night. Hanoi is a very different to HCMC, thank God!! We were expecting the same sort of busy city where everyone is constantly rushing around and what not... we were pleasantly surprised, it seems a bit more relaxed and people seem a bit friendlier!
