Last night we stayed in a hostel 10 minutes out of Stratford-upon-Avon in a place called Alveston and had an amazing dinner at a 'pub' across the road. It called itself a pub but it was really an incredibly fancy restaurant and lounge! Awesome food and awesome vibe!
In the morning we were up early to get off to Stratford to see some sights before we had to catch the train to York. After finding a place to leave our bags we were able to see Holy Trinity Church where we saw Shakespeare's grave and those of a few relatives. It was a truly beautiful church! After that we quickly saw Nash's House and the excavation of Shakespeare's last home. Then it was a quick dash to grab the bags and make the train on time. We're getting fitter by the minute with these heavy packs!

Angus Bryson hi lauren and tom, Thank you for the photos it looks like you are having a great time. what is the weather like? Today it is very wet and cold really like winter. Maddi played netball this morning in the rain and mum got saturated! Dad and i nearly got bogged in the mud out in the vineyard. Dad and i were looking at the sheep this morning and we saw a dead one and I even got to drive the ute! In the morning I collected 4 eggs today because i haven't looked at them for a few days. We have been out to the vineyard to collect a lot of fire wood and we put it in the trailer. We got the wood from the scrub. We can't wait to see more photos of your journey!!! lots of love Angus and Maddi
Lauren and Tom Hi Angus and Maddi, Lovely to hear from you! It sounds like you've been very busy! We've been busy too - we're in York and will be visiting Castle Howard which has been in lots of movies including Garfield 2! Are you still enjoying netball maddi? The weather here is 21 and very sunny - it's nice to be here in summer. We're still having trouble adjusting our sleep - we're falling asleep at 9pm and waking up at 5.30am as it is very very bright by then! We will be putting up a new blog later today and hopefully more photos. We hope you're enjoying your weekend and have great school holidays!! Lots of love from Lauren and Tom xoxoxoxo
Angus Bryson Hi Lauren and Tom. i saw your letter back to us yes maddi is still enjoying her netball. It sounds like fun! how is your trip so far. yes I am helping dad really hard it is tough work. Dad and i had to pull out two lambs which I had spotted when I was driving the ute. But when we got to the the ewe the lambs were already dead. we have been pulling out lots of pine trees up at the shed and along the road... like months ago. Now we are ploughing the ground where all the pine trees were. Dad and I have finished the job. But we still have 2 big heaps of pine trees to burn up we are going to see if we can have a few friends over to have tosted marshmallows. so where are you going next? We can't wait to see the next lot of pictures of your journey. i hope this isn't making you jump out of your skin TOM!!! loe from Angus and Maddi
