After spending a day in Bangkok and getting used to the prices of things again, i made the most of it especially after being in Australia and New Zealand! Had half hour thai body massage and a half hour leg massage. I needed it after all that shopping and plus I'm now carrying 3 backpacks! Later in the evening we got a VIP bus to Ko Phi Phi, after about 16 hours on a bus thats hardly VIP. The chairs recline a little bit back. Then a boat ride that was nice though sitting ontop sunbathing and taking photos of the scenery. Ko Phi Phi was the same as I'd remembered but not as busy as when i was last here.
We got a great deal on our accomadation after a bit of battering we got a nice little bunglow with hot shower, air con and a tv for 600b a night. That is good for Ko Phi Phi, even some guys who work on the island couldn't believe how cheap we had got our bunglow for.
We didn't do to much that first day wondered around town and then sunbathed on the beach.Had an early night onlty a couple of drinks as up early for our trip the next day.
We started out about 8 o'clock on a boat trip to Ko Phi Phi don island. We stopped first at Maya bay this is where the beach was filmed. We kayaked over to the beach, I think this was Carlys favourite part of the trip. The beach was beautiful but bit to busy as lots of tourists on trips there as well. The rest of our trip was around the rest of the island we saw Viking cave, shark island where wwe stopped for some snorkling! Then onto Bamboo island this was my favourite out of all the beaches that day. White sand and clear blue sea and no one around. We snorkeled back to the boat and saw lots of coral and tropical fish. Our last stop was Monkey beach we kayaked over to the beach where loads of monkeys were running around fighting and playing with each other. We took some photos and left pretty sharpish as two people on our boat got bitten by the monkeys! One tried to jump on my back when i was bending down taking a photo. So we paddled back so fast to get away from them viscous animals.
Hippies bar that night we decided to join in in a game of musical chairs that they then turned into a game of making you run out into the audience and getting things of them that they had called out for you to try and find. The last thing that they made us get was a pair of pants that i ended up winning the game.I won a bottle of vodka so was worth the shame. We meet Bradly, Daniel and Michelle they were from Croydon, small world. Bradley was the quy who helped me win the musical chairs game after donating his pants.
After a late night we got up and went to the beach for what was left of the day, there we met an Italian I do attrack them. Dinner with te Italian who thought he knew everything and met everyone else for drinks and a fire show. Well it's Thailand how can you not watch one!
Next day Carly, Michelle and I took a long tail boat to Long Beach its still on Ko Phi Phi, just on anonther side to the island less crowded spent the whole day sunbathing and relaxing.
That night we meet two french quys and after a few drinks all decided to go to the bar where you can watch myai thai. Afterwards the ask people watching if they want to fight in the ring to win a bucket of samgsong. We made the french fight that was fun to watch. Then the Italian wanted to fight as he of course is an expert he trained at a myai thai camp for 6 weeks. His fight was quite boring. Then we were made to go in the ring and fight each other, Carly won after 3 rounds i fell down as i thought she was gona brake my nose. We continued the night in Hippies and danced and drank the night away, well untill it cloesd and we had to leave.
Next morning had breakfast with everyone and said goodbye as most of us were leaving to go various places. We were on our way to Ko Lanta.
