we left Dunedin and stopped to walk up the steepest street in the world according to the guiness book of world records. after that lovely bit of exercise it was back on the bus to go and see the Moetaki Boulders. they are perfect circles. after that we headed into Lake Tekapo. it was really beautiful as everything was covered in snow.

after checking into our hostel Briony, Vic and i headed over the road to the childrens playground, we went on the swings and the seesaw. it was fun recapturing our childhood with this gorgeous lake in the background. We then decided to take a wander up to the hot pools and ice skating rink. the rink was closed so the others went back later that night but i didnt as my back was hurting.

We were meant to be going star gazing but it was cancelled due to poor weather conditions which was a shame as i was looking forward to it. Lake Tekapo is a nice place to relax but there isnt loads to do so only spent one night before returning to Christchurch the next morning.
