Well hello there,
Hope you are all ok back home and looking forward to seeing you all very soon! Today is officially the last full day of our travels which we are both a wee bit sad about but also excited to get back and see you all. Thought we had better finish off this thing and tell you what we have been upto for the last month or so in Asia so here goes.......
First stop was Bangkok where we arrived expecting the same sort of chaos as Lima in Peru (which was our first stop). In fact, we managed to get a metred taxi pretty easily and it was a normal car rather than those dodgy yellow ones from South America! We ventured into the madness of Koh San Road to start off with where we randomly bumped into two guys we travelled with in New Zealand and two of Adam's friends from home. After a good night out with them we tried our hand at the famous Bangkok shopping....much to Adam's discust! We spent a couple of days seeing the sights and trying out the food, which is AMAZING, before catching the overnight train upto Chang Mai. We spent a few days here doing the usual touristy things....cooking courses and a trek. Promise to cook you all lovely Thai food when we return! Oh no, what have we got ourselves in for here. The trek was really good fun. Our guide was a right little character and him and Adam got incredibly drunk on local rice whisky. Adam didn't remember too much of the night but I took great pleasure in reminding him the next morning about him coming to bed with a candle and nearly burning down a whole Thai families bamboo hut....not good!
After Chang Mai we started our mamoth journey down south. We were both ready for some beach time by now so went straight to Koh Tao which was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on a beautiful, quiet little beach which was good although it did mean we had to hike over a massive hill every time we wanted to go to the shop. Good for the leg muscles I suppose. After Koh Tao it was off to Koh Panghan where we went to the half moon party with a couple of sweedish guys we met. Had a really good night drinking Sang Som and buckets in the jungles of the island.
We skipped out Samui and went straight over to Phi Phi (home of THE beach). The island was beautiful and Adam had the great idea to kayak over to Phi Phi Leh....the smaller sister island. I will admit now that it was quite good fun despite the incredibly sore arms and being burnt to a crisp. Since it was one of the more expensive islands we decided to move on quite quickly and headed to Rai Leh (which turned out to be just as expensive if not more!). By the time we got here Adam was getting a bit beached out so we spent a bit of time out of the sun before heading to the Malaysian Perhentian Islands for yet more sun!
Kuala Lumer (KL) turned out to be an amazing few days. The Grand Prix happened to be on at the time so we decided to go. For those of you that didn't see it on TV it absolutely pissed down. There was thunder, lightening...the works. Despite getting drenched, and the race being ended early we had an amazing time. To be honest, I was lost with the whole thing by the time it ended anyway. There was no way you could tell who was in front with them going into the pitt stops every two minutes to change tyres. I did learn a thing or two about Formula 1 though, although I think Adam was fed up with me asking so many questions. Jamiroquai was playing at the concert afterwards as well which was a total bonus!
Well guys....I think that just about wraps up our trip! We are now in Singapore where we are chilling out for a couple of days before flying home tomorrow. Hope you have enjoyed reading our travel blog and see you all very soon.

Kevon How could you let Adam/ Eric go. He is the nicest, most ggreoous, smartest. What a stupid idea. The new guy what's his name I'd mean looking too grubby, very little personality. What a terrible the. The show is the best, you keep bring it down. Nothing is ever the same when you continue to make lost choices. It is a shame. Keep it csi: Miami, or don't.
