After two days exploring the ancient maya ruins of uxmal and chicken itza ive made my way to beautiful Tulum. I have never seen anything like the beaches they have here. The sand is powder ice-cream white and the sea an icy blue yet warm as a bath, walking along the shore in the afternoon it is a common to spot pelicans fishing in the shallows and baby turtles hatching and being let into the sea! It's really breathtaking! I spent the day yesterday cenote diving in dos odros. The caves were beautiful, if a bit spooky. Then in the afternoon caught the collectivo to aguamal beach to snorkel with turtles! Today I'm hoping to explore the biosphera sa'an khan by bicycle, just a few km south of tulum. And tomorrow...off to chetumal to make my way into Belize. I'll keep you posted! X
