Hi hi havnt spoke for a while so will tell you what weve been up to. Just tried to put singaopre and oz photos on but cant do it and have given up. Sunday i felt rougher than ever, really sick all day so didnt go out. Vanessa made paul sunday dinner but the smell made me feel worse, paul said it was very nice tho and did look nice. Monday paul went to work was dreading it but didnt get too bored and wrote my xmas cards which took ages and felt better so that was good. Tried to sunbathe but only lasted 15 mins as was unbearable, about 40 then was hot for rest of day. Vanessa made us dinner again which this time i did eat. Paul didnt get in till 730 but said he had a good day, very different from his normal job, he had to drive a digger thing and water new turf. It was also cooler in the city so didnt get too hot. Tuesday we went to big shopping centre in hornsby and posted cards and got couple of bits then paul played basketball with boys and got showed up quite a few times. Wed we got train to city and went to Darling harbour, was nice and sunny and the place was very nice, lots of nice bars and restaurants round the outside and some good shops. We went to sydney aquarium and wildlife place. The aquarium was good lots of sharks and stuff, also saw all the types of fish that we dived with so that was good. You can tell george that saw nemo and friends lots and as requested have bought his present. The wildlife wsnt as good best bit some good looking koalas and wallabys. Then had dinner in this nice seafood restaurant called Nick's, was quite posh and everybody was dressed for dinner except us in our shorts and flippers! it was nice though and quite reasnoble in cost. Had desert in our local maccy d's cause hadnt taken enough cash with us but that was nice too! Yesterday we got train to city and got 30 min ferry ride from circular quay which is where opera house etc is to Manley, ferry ride had really good views of the opera house and bridge and was nice and hot with blue skies out on deck. We got to Manley beach and the sun dissapearred behind the clouds and the wind started, we were both covered in sand, i said to paul this is jennys idea of hell he said mine too. It was also quite cold so we went to some shops and went back. The beach was huge and the waves just as huge but it was quite nice, would have been lovely with a bit of sun and less wind! Today Paul is working again so im on stuarts computer. Its really miserable today, raining all day, the weather here is more up and down than at home. Im not as feeling sorry for myself as i was last week, thimnk its helped that we have been into city couple of times and feel ok now. Everyones still making us feel really welcome, vanessa is always offering us lifts to shops and station as well as making us dinner! Going to pauls other cousin karens on sat night for a barbie with stuart etc too, apparently own makes some evil cocktails so could be embarassing. Have also booked our car hire to go to byron bay on thursday so that should be good. Good to talk to you now that weve got our ultra cheap phonecard, am still working my way through and maria youre still impossible to get hold of! Cant believe it is nearly xmas, doesnt feel it at all but thats ok, will just be different. Still wish you were all here love and miss you loads laura and paulxxxxx
