were bk in tokyo! thank god kyoto was rubbish.. geishas are a myth. they literally practically do not exist. there are supposedly 1000 geisha left in kyoto out of millions of people. how can the guidebooks even get away with plastering the geisha photos all over the front covers? well done lonley planet! you liars! no one will ever spot a geisha in this curtain twitchy town of nothing. yes, there was nothing actually in kyoto- its all behind closed wooden doors ...

Well i slept soooo well last night. Remember getting into bed and then must have passed out straight away. Laura didnt sleep so well though :(. We had set the alarm for nice and early but i heard Laura mutter 'i feel rough, not getting up' so fell back to sleep. both felt like we were getting a bit of a cold when we woke up... RUBBISH! Swine flu!! Headed out to Harajuku which is one of the main shopping places and also a place to see locals dressed in gothic clo...

Ok well the flight sucked!! About 6 hours long and that was pretty much 6 hours of bad bumpyness. Even the airhostesses were strapped in for a good hour or so it was that bad. I will admit i freaked out a lot during one bit and forcefully held on to Laura's hand for dear life..... she almost lost blood circulation i was squeezing so hard. Bad times! Oh and maybe dozed for a max of 20 mins so we were pretty tired arriving in Tokyo airport at 7am Japan time. Bags...
