Today we went on the hop on hop off bus around Florence. We stopped at the statue of Michelangelo where we could see the whole town. Then we went to Duomo, and then to ponte vecchio, which is a bridge across the river that divides the east and west of Florence and has jewellery stores on it. Then we went back to the hotel for a rest.

Sally Cole Hi Laura, wow have you and Jessie grown since I last saw you? You look very tall against that post in your photo. When we were in Florence Pa bought me my gold earings for my birthday in a jewellery shop in the big square. You had another busy day. The hop on hop off buses are great. Wish we had had time to do that. As we were on a bus tour it wasn't possible. Love Nanny Cole xx
