Brač & Hvar We arrived on the island of Brač on Sunday 18th July. We got a ferry from Split then hopped on a local bus across the island from the port of Supetar to the town of Bol. Bol is famed for its water sports in particular kite surfing and windsurfing. Zagreb and Split We arrived in Zagreb after a fairly pleasant train journey from Ljubljana. From the train station we caught a free tram to our accommodation which was very convenient (the tram is free around the centre of the city). Our hotel of choice was an interesting kitsch little number with mock Greek/Roman decor (it also had lots of mirrors and gold; ‘different’ would best describe it!).
