Hi everyone, hope you are all ok. Thanks for all the emails and messages we are loving them. We r so pleased Jan and Kaz that we are providing a facilility for you to chat rather than email ur daughters!!! Was lovely to speak to you both. Ok....so after our crazy non stop time in bangkok and then a 12 hour bus journey and 4 hours on a boat we finally arrived in paradise or as the locals call it Ko Phangan. We met up with Stu who was a few hours late as he was wrecked from the night before! we are staying in a mint hill top bungalow/hut which overlooks the whole of the bay for 3 quid a night each! the climb is a bit of a killer though. we have had a few storms - on the first night we got stuck in a bar for 5 hours. to be fair though it has been scorching hot for most of the time. most of our days have been spent eating, drinking pineapple shakes and lying on the beach/swimming in the clear blue sea and dozing under palm trees with a lot of sweating thrown in. finding a decent toilet has been a bit of challenge. apparently spraying your arse instead of wiping it is the deal over here. we are such girls! the place is awesome and absolutely stunning. have eaten some wicked food and it is dirt cheap. on the evening of the 7th was the full moon party which is pretty much legendary and people come from all over for it. there were about 15000 people all on the beach. unreal night!!! got v drunk on buckets of vodka and stayed up to see the sunrise. we also got some wicked illuminous tattoos! it doesnt get much better than that. tim left us today which was sad - he's been a star! just been out for a yummy mexican and we leave the island in the morning. going to ko tao with stu which is a little island about an hour from here (east coast of thailand) we are meeting up with some guys who stu has been friends with and we spent the last few days with them. hopefully going to do a scuba dive and top up our tans!!! cant wait to here from u all soon. will be posting the pictures asap. p.s. frizz aka barry gibb - your email hasnt come through. xxx
