Hello!

As you can gather I have been to Australia zoo and it was pretty damn groovy! First thing we did was to see some gigantic turtles being fed then we headed off to the 'world famous' crocoseum to get front seats for all the croc wrestling action. Before the show started they did some crowd warming stuff and made each side of the stadium do animal impressions. Our impressions of monkeys were so damn good they made us stand up again whilst they filmed us and beamed our monkey madness on to the big screen infront of the whole stadium. We were a tad embarressed but it was made worse when we were actually recognised in the campsite at noosa as the british monkey people!

The show was really cool they had loads of snakes and one of the snake team actually got into the swimming pool and just started swimming around with the snakes. They then got a guy from the audience to volunteer before he realised he would actually have to hold a snake then he freaked out and tried to climb out of the stadium - fool. They then let loads of different parrots and other cool coloured birds fly around the stadium before bringing out the crocodile and showing us how it hunts in the water which was really cool.

After that we went wandering around checking out all the animals and fed some kangaroos before petting a koala and nosing at a cheetah that was being taken for a walk on a lead. That night we drove up to noosa to camp. It was dark when we arrived and it wasnt until the next morning we realised we were camping right on the river bank and that it was actually really pretty there. Noosa has the highest number of roundabouts out of all the towns in queensland and after getting quite lost for awhile we eventually made it to the beach where rich went surfing and claire, stacey and i hired some kayaks and played pirates which was all good fun. After another night in noosa we have now driven up to hervey bay ready to go to fraser island on friday. I cant wait but the weather forecast is crappy but I'm sure we will have a laugh anyway.
