I am sorry but, it did seem a little familiar walking around Cuenca: I was strongly reminded of a collection of previous locations I have visited and Arequipa in Peru especially. Perhaps I do Cuenca a disservice: certainly, it must be viewed in its own light but, for me personally, while I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the city, I was not sorry to journey on to Baños so quickly, after a mere two days.
