I had 4 days in Kuta by myself until the girls arrived, I stayed at the Atanaya Hotel which was very nice and had a lovely rooftop pool. I literally spent the days sunbathing on the roof topping up my tan! I was so excited when the girls finally arrived on the 8th as I was getting lonely!
On the 8th I hung around the hotel during the day and then in the evening had some dinner and then took a taxi to the new hostel I was staying in with the girls and waited for them to arrive as they were flying in from Vietnam. When they finally arrived it was so great to see them but they were tired as they had been travelling for 24 hours and it was around 10.30pm so we pretty much went straight to bed after catching up!
The next day we slept in quite late and then went and had a walk around the town. We walked to the beach but the sea was so rough and the red flag was out which meant that no swimming was allowed. It was so hot and humid and we were dying to go for a swim! We found out about a hotel that apparently lets you pay to use the pool so we went there and all we had to do was buy a drink to use the pool which was great. We spent the rest of the day sunbathing, swimming and chatting! On the way back we walked through the markets and Jess bought some trainers and I bought a hat. In the evening we went on a night out and met up with 4 boys that Georgina knew. We had pre drinks with them at their hotel and then went to 2 different clubs. We had such a fun night and danced a lot! We went home at around 3.30am.
The next day we got up late again and we were all very hungover! Ngaire and Jess were sick too. We went to a different hotel that we had found about that had a rooftop pool that the public could also use. On the way we stopped at an Italian restaurant and had some massive but delicious margarita pizzas! We spent the rest of the day again around the pool sunbathing. In the evening we had plans to meet up with some other girls from Horsham who were also staying near by. We went to a club called Sky Garden and it was amazing. We went at around 6.30pm and you pay £5 and have all you can eat BBQ and unlimited drinks until 9pm. They food was amazing and it was definitely worth going to. We met up with the other Horsham girls and then carried on drinking and chatting with them for ages. We again got quite drunk and danced until we were all too tired to carry on and headed back to the hostel at around 2am.
The next day we checked out and organised a taxi to Ubud.
