Hello All,

Well we arrived in Rio safe what was a long haul ! This place is amazing ! Today we are planning on doing some tours through our hostel, one of Sugar loaf Mountain and another of Christ The Redeemer statue. Both sit high above the city and have amazing views of Rio (or so we are told). Shall soon find out.....

We plan to stay one more night in Rio before heading south and exploring some of the coast line along the way, making our way down to Iguazu Falls on the Argentinan border. We will do this over the next two weeks before heading back to Rio for Carnaval on the 14th - which should be some experience !
