Had the most amazing day. Caught a boat out first thing to the reef and went snorkelling. Lunch in the boat was good and signed up for a snorkelling tour! Tour was amazing, helped by the cute instructor. Saw 9 different sharks, Nemo type fish and loads more. Couldn't believe how many there were and how un-bothered by us they are, the fish swim right up to you- awesome. Heading out for kangaroo tea then some sort of pub crawl, all sounds good apart from tomorrow I...

Chilling by the pool waiting for our flight to the east coast. Ready to start the second part of our trip to Sydney. Sad saying goodbye to the guys this morning but excited for the Great Barrier Reef!

Made it to Urulu! Got up for sunrise over Ayres Rock, pretty awesome. This was followed by a walk round the base, not a massive amount to see to good to get some exercise. Then it was back to the hotel before heading off for the helicopter flight over the Olgas and Urulu, again awesome is the only word for it. Back at the hotel, quick shower then back out for a champagne sunset with nibbles. Back at the hotel for drinks and dancing.

On the bus again headed to Urulu! Stopped for photos on the way at Mt Cook, or fooluru, as it looks like the Rock but isn't. Then it was off to Simpson Gap and the Olgas.

Another long day of travelling. Left Alice Springs headed for Kings Canyon. Bush Tucker tour in the morning, learning about the aboriginal people, trying there food, throwing a boomerang. Hike round the canyon rim in the afternoon, steep climb up cardiac hill but well worth it for the views from up there.
