Hi Andi, Happy Birthday, Dad.
Your present awaits your return, hear you are going straight to Liverpool when you come back - well at least it's nearer than Southampton!
Helen is improving, I know this because she nags me again! but her STMemory is still bad. Should improve when the aneurism is sorted. Have seen james a couple of times he sends his love, etc. Did you know he totaled his bike? Saw Mad yesterday in he new digs and she gave me your blog site, which is why you are getting this. How come no postcards have arrived???
Take care and don't smoke the african woodbines! See you when you get back.
Love Dad & Helen

Hi Lu and the girls....
Zanzibar sounds great - almost as good as Germany! We're home now and back on an English keyboard - heaven. Bet you can't wait to get back to good old Blighty. Have a nice rest (student style) and when you've sobbered up have a safe trip on to Ghana. Wig's is trying out the local delicacies in Thailand - lots of stories to swap on those cold winter nights.... Love you lots and can't wait to see you safely home. xxxxx

Reading your blog I notice that you have only one week left. My God I did intend to make an entry before this. Put it down to dementia a very popular disease at my age. When reading your adventures I have been constantly fearful for your safety,(another sign of the dreaded "D") so pleased your exploits have been tamer than I had imagined My news. Paddie has grow up in the last week and so Peko"s intentions have been quashed and he is no longer allowed to visit ..I am still soldiering on winging as usual according to your Mama. Unfortunately , Your worthy Mama has been stricken down with a psychosomatic back exhibiting all the most painfull symptoms, and has been unable to attend her place of work. Was it something she said to me??? She is a little better today. We do not mention the weather.I like it cool but no one else is of my inclanation. One very wet day, Cecilly brought me two toads she found on my drive. the downpour had washed them from their hiding places. She said she had seen hundreds, She is also given to exaggeration at times. Hoping to see you soon Your affectionate Grandmama, XXXXXXXXXX
