Nice flight from Oslo to Førde. Most of the plane was people traveling to the reunion. We had a mini reunion in the airport. Being at the college is surreal. Brings back so many memories. The kids are loving staying in our rooms and exploring the campus. I stayed up till 01:30 talking about human rights and Indigenous peoples with one of my very good friends from Sweden. Just like old times...

Super fun day in Oslo. Yummy breakfast at the hotel followed by bus and train ride to Oslo (airport is about 25 min N by train). Started out at the Viking Museum. Amazing artifacts from around 700 AD. The Viking Queens were buried in their ships along with a number of items to help them in the afterlife. The mud and dirt preserved them. We headed off to check out the A&V museum this morning. What an amazing collection for FREE. We just made it to Heathrow on time. Easy flight over to Oslo. Emi so excited about the Norwegian waffles. Corey not too excited about the 25% tax. We are settled into our hotel room for the night. Off to explore tomorrow.

Rainy day in London. We set off to see Buckingham Palace and St. James's park. Even in the rain it was beautiful. Afterwards, we took the Underground to King's Cross station to find platform 9 & 3/4. We lost Gabe in the Harry Potter store for an hour.

A little trouble waking up this morning. Emi was up in the night and ready to go home. The rest of us are up and trying to get ourselves ready for breakfast. Pretty rainy today, but we are going to do the hop on hop off bus to see the sights. We're also meeting up with a friend of mine this afternoon. Corey really enjoyed his steak pie for dinner last night. Emi had the Picky Eater Platter, which she loved.
