After a sleep in this morning, we got ready and headed down towards the Embarcadero and the waterfront to find ourselves some sort of party for Independence Day. There were a bunch of markets down there, and we passed one guy selling tshirts with really cool designs on them. We woke up today and got ready to head off again, and after a quick chat with everyone we got in the car and followed them down the street. The five of us (Taylor, Eric and Rainie) went to a little cafe called Porch and ordered some coffees, and breakfast for Darren and I. We drank our coffees and had a chat with the guys until our food was ready, then we had to say our goodbyes and get back on the road. But at least it's not too long until we'll get to catch up...

We woke up at about 7:30 this morning and packed up our things and got checked out. We walked up the street about half an hour to the Alamo car hire place. Darren apparently woke up not long after 1am this morning and couldn't sleep until 7 or so. I guess the time difference has finally caught up with us, after having our first two nights way out of whack! So by the time we finally recovered and woke up it was 11am.
