Hello everyone!!

First, I would like to thank everyone for their messages and notes!! It is really nice to hear from all of you!!

This past weekend, I went to Vienna, Austria to visit my best friend Aly Konkol!! I left England early Friday morning and got to Vienna in the early afternoon. Luckily, she was there to meet me, so I didn't have attempt German! Then, we went back to her place, which is about 45 minutes from the airport. We went to an authentic Austrian restaurant that night and of course I had to get the winerschinzel. I was really good and we went back to her room to relax after a hard day of travel. I met her roommate, who is from Estonia. She was very nice and is was cool to meet someone from there.

The next day, Aly gave me a grand tour of Vienna. She showed me all the sights and it truely is a beautiful city. That afternoon, we went to a little cafe and had some authentic Austrian coffee and a torte. It was fun! I think I'm becoming addicted to coffee... We did a little shoppping and I bought a pink trenchcoat!! I just love the color!! We went to a little Italian restaurant that night and had a fantastic farewell dinner! The next day, I went back to Harlaxton! The weekend was so much fun and it was great to see someone familiar from home!! She is actually coming to visit during her spring break, so that should be really fun!!

I'm having a blast over here, but there is only about 50 days left!! Can you believe it! Time sure goes by really fast!! Next weekend, I'm off to the Lake District in England for some outdoor activities. I'll let you know how that goes!!
