Day 11 More sunbathing, then off out early for drinks first at the American bar. Dad wanted a large Guinness and was shortly served 2 pints worth of Guinness in a glass bucket! Pancakes afterwards in a cafe on the Main Street then ice cream at Raki again before going back to the apartment

Day 10 Not long left now. Another quiet day, didn't go to Ischia, boats too few and everything we want to see is on the opposite part of the island. not a problem if we could get info on the island before going but we can't :/ Managed to get out of the apartment and onto the pool terrace by 9:30. Made the most of the sun all morning through til about 2pm when it disappeared behind the hotel next door. Back to our room for some lunch and some chill out time then...

Day 9 We have been pretty much everywhere now :P Slept in very late today, lots of walking yesterday, so was needed! We missed the morning slot for sun on the hotel terrace, disappears begin the buildings at noon. So instead we had a wander through town again trying to find info about Ischia as a possibility for one day this week, so far no one seems to have info about the island or what happens when you get there :/ Stopped for lunch in the foreigner's club,...

Day 8 Did loads today Caught the train to Ercolano with the intention to get up to Vesuvius. Usual buskers on the train again :) Got taxi so far of the way up Vesuvius then got dropped off and walked the rest. 15 minute walk up to the top the driver reckoned. 30 mins later we arrived! views so amazing from up there and very warm, which was great except we all had about 4 layers on after someone told my dad it would be cold! Had a wander about, looked out acros...

Day 7 Time for a break, had a lie in today then down to the riviera again to sit in the sun and watch the boats :) out early, had a couple of drinks down one little street then on to L'abate before returning home early, Vesuvius and maybe Herculaneum as well tomorrow
