Hola everyone,
Thought I would try out blogging rather than emails for a change, so you can follow what we are up to whenever it suits you :) I´ll try keep it short for now. After trekking the gruelling but rewarding Inca Trail (most amazing scenery ever) we headed to Huacachina to go sandboarding. It was such a small, cool little town all centred around a lake. The sandboarding was so much fun and, like we were warned, the dune buggy drivers were mental. We had the biggest ´dude´ as a driver who hung his arms out the side and cruised round the dunes so fast that Laura almost fell out the side at one point. Far better than any rollercoaster ride I have been on!! We ventured up north of Peru to Mancora, which is a fun little beach town with markets selling sarongs and jewellery, restaurants serving fish (I tried my first ceviche here (raw fish), and long mals to hire for a surf out the front. Luke, Fazi and I hired boards one day which was great fun. Am hoping to become a pro by the end of this trip :) Stopped via Quito in Ecuador and went out partying then arrived to Cali, Colombia two days ago. Cali is apparantly renowned for cilicone and plastic surgery, and so lots of beautiful women walk the streets! I a considering investing in a boob job, but not sure yet ha ha! Today was a mega Westernised day, we went to the local mall and ate Macdonalds, I bought my first-ever Zara purchase (a little dress) and we went to the movies. We are off to gorge on Mexican food tonight then to the salsa clubs to practice our moves.
Missing you all and keep sending through the goss. lots of love. Baz xx
