well i finally arrived in oz!!!! my flight here was amazing as we followed the sunset all the way from new zealand to oz.................it was the most amazing orange colour............you could just imagine it reflecting off the australian outback!!! in fact i was so amazed i almost failed to notice sydney harbour bridge and the opera house below me!!! it was amazing to finally see it! its probably the sight i have been looking forward to most........and trust me....it doesn\'t fail to impress! ..........just to make things even better...........i got 2 free doughnuts as i was waiting for the bus to melbourne as the lady didnt have enough change in the till!!! what could be better than that??!!!! anyway........im finally sitting here next to tiff ( who i haven\'t see for 1 and a half years!!) after a long night on the bus!! 12 hours driving but i managed to get 2 seats so i curled up and slept most of the way!!! we have just spent the afternoon looking around the city.......trying to avoid the shops!!!!! actually it hasn\'t been that hard...........i think we have both spent so long in the middle of no-where that we\'re not really bothered by it all anymore! saying that........i have just booked my self an appointment at the hairdressers!!!! trust me.......my split ends need it!!! its a necessity not a luxury! ha ha!!...............im also going to splash out on the \'neighbours\' tour if i can!.............could you really pass up the chance to meet harold bishop???!!!! anyway, we are going to a little garage on monday where we have been told there are some really cheap (but apparently reliable!) cars!!! if we can get one for the right price we will be starting our road trip very soon!!!! we have decided to follow the great ocean road which is amazing apparently! this takes us down to adelaide and then we will carry on to perth!!! hoping to meet up with laura and janine once we get there!!!! not sure what will happen after that!....probably work for a while and head back to the east coast in time for the start of summer! well im having an early night tonight as feeling a bit worn out with all the goings on in the last few days!!! ....................will keep you all posted!!!
