Hi and so sorry again for not writing in a while. We've moved on from Cairns and now we're in Airlie beach trying not to melt in the hot sun, fortunatly we found the lagoon today and spent most of the day there. To begin with we booked a camp site on the bus over here that's situated a bit out of town. We only spent 2 nights there and now we're in magnums backpackers camp site right in the middle of town for one night, then tomorrow we're moving to A couch surfing couple from here that we met yesterday, they seem so nice and might even have us for a week!! Budget budget budget....

Cairns was awesome by the way! Met so many nice people we're gonna meet up with later on our way down the coast. I think Rich, Carrie and Hannah are arriving tomorrow so we're gonna plan something for rich's birthday on tuesday i think. Then there's some other people we'll try and meet up with in NZ aswell.

Diving in the great barrier reef was so much fun and sorry for not having any pics from it just yet, but the photos are on a cd so i'll try make an album some other time for just that. Just looked at them quickly and the digital under water camera was well worth it!!!

Weather has been really hot and sunny but with a few days of showers too cool us off. Really loving australia!! Everyone is so nice and you can't complain about the scenery... Everywhere we look there's christmas decorations, just feels wrong! It's sooo hot! Just spoke to my mum on her birthday yesterday and the snow is coming slowly but surely! Don't know where we'll be for christmas yet but we're gonna try to get some work to extend the budget further if we can. New years has got to be Sydney, but where to live?? Lucky we've got the tent is what i say!!
