Hi!!

Just to let everyone know (my mum:)) we've arrived safetly in Auckland. We almost missed the flight from sydney though as our shuttle we've booked couldn't find us, so we had to get our lovely host, Mitch, to give us a lift. Quite embaressing but i suppose he's got a ride from the airport if he ever comes to visit in sweden or england. We're at a nice hostel in the centre of the city (nomads fat camel) and have spent the day looking for cars to take us up and down the islands. Have looked at one today, the only thing is, it's a sedan and we're looking for a stationwagon for better comfort since we'll be sleeping in it for 4 weeks! However we' feel we're pretty close and will hopfully have one by tomorrow night and we can start our roadtrip!

The weather here at the moment is a bit colder than we're used to, around 25 degrees and sunny. God knows how we'll cope further down in the cold! :) Auckland is really pretty the little we've seen of it and the people are just as friendly as the aussies. Hope they've got the good bbqs here too!
