Hello! Well we're now up in Nelson at the top of the South Island. We picked up good ol' Christopher Baggins (our mate from Oz) in Queenstown and then drove (with a car breakdown in the middle of nowhere) to Lake Wanaka where we spent a night so that the car could be fixed. Then we carried on up the West Coast to Fox Glacier where Krissie did a helicopter flight and then straight onto Pukaki to see the blowholes and pancake rocks. The following day we went up to Abel Tasman National Park and Chris went kayaking. Its all been action packed and very exciting. Krissie even had her purse fall out of the car and had it handed in to the police by the nicest man IN THE WORLD who didn't take any of the wodge of cash which was in there....How lucky!
