Today was another amazing day exploring the Tasmanian back country. I woke up super early and headed to the beach to watch the sunrise over the Bay of Fires. I am so happy that I did because the view was absolutely stunning. The colour changes of the sky in the hour that I was there were unbelievable. Maybe that's why it's called the Bay of Fires. Today was such and exciting day! After a pretty early rise and a hearty breakfast of oatmeal and trail mix, we parted from our friends at Sands Pit/Wielangta and headed up the coast. Today we left Hobart and started our epic Tassie road trip! We picked up our rental (a big white SUV) at 10am, made a quick pit stop and Kmart and Woolies to grab supplies and then we headed east to Port Arthur. The drive was great.
