After leaving Krabi at 12pm in the afternoon to head off to Ko Samui on an exteremely long coach journey we boarded the ferry over to what would be my paradise island for the next 9 days. The journey did not start well with possibly one of the worst ferry crossings in my life!! Half of the passengers were sick and the boat was thrashing about the whole way not fun!! After finally arriving on the island I boarded my mini bus with mixed feelings about my accomodation after realising how little I paid however after pulling up at Rich Resort I was pleasantly surprised to find a massive family room all to myself with hotel and adjoining bar right on the beach perfect :)

To be honest this was probably my most uneventful week as I took the oppurtunity to recharge my batteries and spent most of the time sunbathing, reading and drinking way too many Mai Tais and Sex on the Beach cocktails in the Swing Bar next door. Unfortunately I never made it to a Full Moon Party as the girls I was supposed to meet on the 28th had food poisioning BOO!!

New Years Eve was my night to party so after getting proper glammed up for the first time in quite a while I stepped out of my front door to get the taxi to the Ark Bar on Chaweng brach and meet some girls from back home and the almightiest storm had hit Samui. I mean there was no beach as the waves were so far in and the rain was biblical!! When it rains it pours in Thailand however it was still warm so we partied anyway until the early hours and luckily at the least the rain stopped by midnight so we could watch a pretty impressive firework show on the beach.

I checked out today and made my way back to Krabi for one more night before catching a flight tomorrow to KL for a week. Really looking forward to a different change of pace and I met two girls (Fytka and Johanna) who live there today at the hostel so hopefully will have plenty of fun times when we get there.

Sorry not much to update and also sadly no pics however I will deffo make up for that with the next post from KL.............. :)
