Quick update on my first week in Melbourne..... I was supposed to arrive last Tuesday at 5pm however after what Gold Coast airport considered extreme weather conditions (it was a a bit of rain for gawd sake) we were diverted via coach up to Brisbane to catch our flight so ended up getting in to Melbourne 7 hours late!! Byron Bay has been pretty awesome!! After arriving quite late the first night I decided to treat myself to a bottle of wine before chilling out for the evening as the next morning I had some kayaking with dolphins to do :) After waking up the next morning with a banging headache I was tempting to cancel the whole day and I was so glad I didnt. After waiting for the bus for 4 hours and then spending a further 12 hours on the bus I finally arrived in Hervey Bay. Surprise, surprise the next morning I woke up late for my bus and ran around like a mad womand to get to the bus terminal only for it turn up late typical!! I arrived in Cairns after yet another plane journey to step off the plane to sweltering heat, it was still near enough 40 degrees at 4pm!!
