We arrived in Hong Kong on Thursday evening after an 11 hour flight from Heathrow. It was very strange leaving at 10:20 in the evening on Wednesday and arriving at 6:00 in the evening on Thursday and the kids sleeping pattern was totally confused. Myself and Jennie didn't get much sleep on the plane or on Thursday night as the kids were awake at 2 am!

We are staying with some friends, Sam and Alex and their 2 children Katie and Tom in Discovery Bay on Lantau Island and it is fantastic here. The weather is about 22 degrees and not humid at all so it is very comfortable for us. Our first full day was yesterday and we took the kids to Disney Land where they ran us into the ground and we all had a really good time. We are looking forward to a relaxing day today with some swimming and a trip to the beach on the agenda. We have not been over to Hong Kong island yet so our experience so far is nothing like the hustle and bustle that is assciated with here. In Discovery Bay the pace of life is relaxed and we are really enjoying ourselves.
