Wow, I haven't written on this for a long, long tim, partly coz I'm lazy and partly coz it takes forever to upload my pics to Facebook and then there's no time left! I'm going to try to update the last 3 weeks now... So, when I got here, I was missing New Zealand quite a bit, and it was pretty rainy and cold here, and I was semi-regretting being here for 8 weeks. Halloooo! It's now Wednesday, and I've been in Sydney for about 4 days now. Not sure what I think of it yet - New Zealand was so amazing, and pretty hard to beat. Haven't done very much sightseeing yet as I started work on Monday - it was actually really exciting getting the train with all the other commuters, travelling over the Harbour Bridge and feeling like a real Sydneysider! Bit cheesy, I know.

I'm in Sydney! Can't believe I am actually here. It's a little bit rainy but Cheng and I have just been around to Darling Harbour, where there were some amazing fireworks and fire-eaters (celebrating my arrival I think) and there are so many restaurants around the Harbour and it all looks awesome, can't wait for tomorrow! The hostel we are at tonight is supposed to be the best hostel in Oceania, but the room is a bit titchy so hopefully gonna start looking for a ...

So, just to finish off the rest of this week: Tuesday night after the skydive we drove over to Waitomo, which is famous for its glowworm caves and black water rafting (tubing in the water in the caves). We were just booking up when this little loud blondie rushed over - Zara! She was there with Katie and Jim and we all went off to Curly's for a drink, which was really nice. Okay so omg today was SKYDIVING DAY! I was pretty scared, I gotta admit... We got to the skydive centre and I literally just wanted to run away. They showed us a DVD of some people skydiving and it looked SO SCARY!! I didnt want to wimp out though, especially as Vicky and Amy were doing it, so I just signed the form and carried on, inside thinking what the hell am I doing?!
