Ok wow where do I start…well not much has been happening the past few weeks apart from the usual…school, beach, drinking, school, beach, drinking….that has totally been my life for the past 3 weeks it's been such a wonderful vacation. And from my last blog post, it has incredibly improved!! I was having fun before, but now I didn't even think I could have this much fun like constantly! The 21 year old German girl came and we've been living like sisters (like sisters not actually sisters but sisters who get along!) we've got so close, she's called Aneike and she's such a sweet girl, there's also a Swiss girl Sabrina and her friend Andy and e Belgium guy (all in their early 20s) living across the road from me so its sooooo nice to have some great company of young people!! YESSSS FINALLY!! Also there's a Swiss guy called Tom who lives down the road so it's really nice to hang round in a big group, feels like we've been a big group of friends for ages. I moved to the next class last week which was pretty scary, wasn't feel at all up for it though, was still hungover from Saturday night, went over dancing and literally didn't get home till 7am, me feet hurt so bad the next day and I couldn't sleep in the day either but it was soooo sooo much fun. So I started class with a whole load of new people, 15 people joined the school, half of them are gone though they were all pilots with Lufthansa who get an extra paid week holiday if they do a language school haha. It was hard the classes now cas everyone can actually speak some Spanish and I'm still struggling the remember what the main verbs mean in English! But its been ok, missed a day for the first time on Friday, we had a party on Thursday and I was dancing with Sabrina…the floor was wet cas it had been raining, we had a little too many drinks and went flying, I landed on my head which was a nasty shock and literally couldn't get up the next morning, so spent the day in bed…I realized this is the last time I'm going to be able to have lazy bed days in 8 months!! I'm not staying in a home for 8 months, I don't want to leave it, it feels so like my home is unbelievable…I feel more at home here than I do in England. Sorry mom, I have no idea why but I just do. Any who. Saturday came around and me and Aneike decided to treat our selves to a fancy Italian lunch, it was the most expensive meal I've had since I've been gone and it came to 8pounds! Lol it's ridiculous if I try and remember how expensive England is. We then went for nice walk around the old part of Pampatar, then got ready for the xmas party at school…man what a night that was! We arrived at the school and there were about 50 people there, and only like 6 students! There was free food and all you could drink. They had a live salsa band who were just great and then at 11pm, a tamborie group came on…like 6 guys with African style drums and 3 girls in hula costumes, the dancing was incredible, the girls could move their hips in ways I didn't even think was humanly possible! It was the kind of dancing you expect to be round a fire on a beach in Hawaii, really crazy and fast---was amazing, then they put on some 50s music and everyone was like ¿Que!!? We don't know how to dance to this, so me and Aneike took to the floor and did a load of impromptu swing dancing and jiving, was so fun!! The latinos were like omg weird European dancing…if it ain't salsa, it aint dancing! We then hit Kamy Beach…another club till the very very early hours, watched the sun rise on the beach, poddled on home at 8am..Oh dear! And went to sleep! What a night. I then met the guys at the beach for some live rock band to watch the sunset on Playa Caribe which was just great, the ambiance was perfect! It was full of Argentinean hippies who had been traveling for the last 7 years. We then had a spectacular drive home with a really fun taxi driver who played Bob Marley Legend on full blast and it was like the whole car was swaying and swinging along, was like out of a movie! The next day everyone was still so tired, after school we went to the Hilton to meet some guys who were in a band that we met at Kamy Beach, we just chilled by the pool went swimming, was really nice. I can't believe I only have less than a week here!! Noooo o well a new adventure awaits, until next time, tat a xxxxxxxxxxxx
