After arriving from Vang Vieng we spent a lovely few days round Luang Prabang. A really pretty world heritage town with typical Loa style ambiance of chilled out relaxed people. We soon realized that the government curfew of 11pm was strictly enforced after we arrived in Vang Vieng after 11pm hoping to find a room. We trekked over a toll bridge and around hotels trying to find somewhere open but nowhere, finally stumbled upon an up market resort type place with a great room by the river at $20 a night it was pretty steep but it was Chris' birthday so so be it.
