Hi. Fraser Island was awesome. I loved it. The geology of the island enhanced this love of Fraser Island. It is made up almost entirely of sand apart from ancient volcanic activity. Lake Wabby was awesome and a great swim. Indian Heads provided excellent views. The Maheno wreck was awesome. Eli Creek was refreshing. Central Station was lush. Lake Mackenzie was excellent and was an excellent swim with white silica(fine quartz)sand surrounding it. Excellent trip...

Howzit going. The last few days have been awesome from the start. The drive from Airlie Beach to Carnarvon National Park and then on to Kroombit Cattle Station was awesome enough. But the activities involved were awesome. From didgeridoo playing to boomerang throwing and mustering on horseback to walking through ancient rainforest. Hi. I have had an action packed few days. Cairns was a great place to start my tour and the saltwater crocodiles were cool as well as the Koalas ar Magnetic Island. The sailing at the Whitsunday's were awesome. It was really beautiful and the sand was made of silica (fine quartz). It has been a great start to my adventure in Australia.
