Paraty is a charming little seaside town with cobbled streets and some of the best examples of colonial Portugese buildings in Brazil as well as some sweet beaches and islands to explore. We went on a boat trip through the islands stopping of to swim in the bath temperature sea, do some snorkeling and to expose our ultra pale complection to the rays of the sun. We also visited a small beach village called Trindade which was about 1 hour south by bus, the bus ride was more like a rollercoaster ride through the hills and rivers. Next thing we knew after days of bumming around by the beach in Paraty and Trindade 4 days had been and it was time to move on as Brazil is a budget eater. Deciding that it was time to move away from the beaches and inland we made the long trip to Foz do Iguaçu.
So far there are plenty of photos, pink skin, frizzy hair (damn heat), wicked sights and even more amazing memories to come.
