Hi there,

No photos from yesterday because we pretty much chilled out and had a rest day. The Victoria hotel is stunning and a haven after all the busy sight seeing we have been doing.

In the morning we did venture into the town for a little shopping, but came home for a refreshing swim and lie by the pool. I was feeling a little worse for wear fighting a cold so a sleep was in order too! We actually ended up ordering a club sandwich by the pool and lo and behold a big cloud came over and we had rain! Tropical rain of course so we sat at the outdoor bar and watched it por down. Cooled everything down to a perfect temp for the rest of the day which was lovely.

So funny and something I have never seen before.... the hotel staff here freeze giant blocks of ice and drop them into the pool for the guests to float on and with and to cool the pool down, which honestly is like a warm bath!!! Ariana and Reagan do you think you would enjoy playing with a giant ice-berg in a pool?

Today I am feeling so much better and we are off to My Son with Trang. This avo we need to pick up the clothes we have had made. I have had several evening dresses made and I had a fitting yesterday and they have done such a stunning job! Very happy with them.

Grandma, it sounds as though you are ready for a lunch out with friends on Wednesday!!! Not sure about the fish and what went wrong.... perhaps you are just so spoilt with the fresh fish you get in NZ!!! Hope the next few days go smoothly.... we are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.... fun Friday sounds a plan!!
