Hi there everyone!
Thanks so much for all my birthday wishes! It will be one I remember. The day started with a lovely cooked breakfast in our hotel... we were the first ones there at 6:30am, as we were awake so early! All was going well, until I saw something out of the corner of my eye scuttle accross the floor...."was that a...?" I said to Phil. Who calmly kept eating his eggs and replied, " yep... I think it was!" I promptly lifted my feet under the table on to his lap....and could not stop laughing! Noone else working in the hotel blinked an eylid at our ratty friend.... OMG!!!!
We headed down to the lake where Daddy spotted a turtle in the lake... (I took a photo to show you Reagan), apparrently very good luck to see one!
We have spent the rest of the day walking the Old Quarter.... very hot work! Have seen some very interesting things. We had to come back to the hotel for a shower before we head out again for another walk.... I am getting good at washing my underwear in the basin...Must be losing weight with all the sweating I am doing....mind you we are rehydrating with beer!
I have enjoyed eating some of the Lindor chocolate you sent Bri... keeping it in the freezer for a cold sweet treat!
