Anyone who knows me reasonably well knows that out of all bugs on the entire planet the ones that make me shudder with disgust (poetic huh?) are ants. Yes, I have been told, they are very small and harmless blah blah blah. So I was happily sitting on my bed, at the smelly hotel, reading my book when I felt a little stinging on my back. I turned to look and found myself covered in ants! Was so gross. They weren't those little harmless black ants of NZ. These were black with red heads and tails, and had some serious anger issues. They bit all over my back and arms and despite doing a crazy arm shaking and leg kicking dance around my box of a room, it took ages to get them off. Gross yet painful at the same time.

My hotel, which smelt quite disgustingly of sewerage, had a number of burglaries so decided that in addition with the vicious ants, it was definately a sign to leave...

So... I am now at Big Milly's Backyward, in Kokrobite (pronounced Coccrobittay if you don't want to get put on the wrong tro tro like I did...). Its great, sunny, good food, nice beach, awesome fishing boats and the best of all - ICE CREAM!!
