Mainly as proof that I don't actually spend most of my time jetting around Europe I thought I would update my blog from here in Lyon. With little over a month left of my french adventure time is rushing by ridiculously quickly!
Today I had a placement test to see what class I will be in for my month long french course starting next week. I learnt my lesson that guessing on placement tests is a stupid idea. I paid dearly for this stupidity in my french class at Uni here in Lyon, surrounded by people who had studied french for 8 years or so, I can honestly say I have never detested french grammer to that extent before... lets be glad that 8/20 is a pass mark!

The rest of us are unsure if or when this is going to happen to us also. When I asked the staff at reception they said they weren't sure but that we would have a few days notice. How considerate...
So before I leave at the end of may I have 3 exams, an intensive french course with Alliance Francaise, the attempt to pack everything I have accumulated over the last semester into a pack weighing less than 20 kgs, last minute day trips to see as much of france as possible, regular saturday purchases of the most amazing gluten free bread ever, multiple market visits...
