Had a snigger over your beer in Ages. Aha - a bus, Jeff promised me I could get a taxi - doesn't sound very pilgrim like but does sound like me - how much do they cost?

Mia dedos muchas bueno. Thanks to a lovely Swiss woman who has walked 1500 kms already and will go to finis terror. That was meant to be finisterre. But I like what a auto spell did with it. 2000 kms and she painted my toes with some red smelly stuff after I cut the skin with scissors. So humbling. Thanks for the useful phrase I am sure I can put it up good use.

Hola peregrina - cómo están los dedos (how are the toes?) - couple of palabras (words) to throw around like you know what your talking about! I am still in awe - it is the most fun time of my day when I get back to the Kiwi Camino (great name - have you ever considered working in advertising). Hosing down with rain here in Nelson. Reckon you have the best of it - b***** the homesickness, I´m green with envy

Hey Jill and John congratulations on your win. Jill don't let a big collect go to your head or is it your wallet.

Good advice Sally. I sent back four pair of synthetic technical sox. A pair of shorts and top I thought I might wear swimming. And some stuff I can't remember. I have a silk liner and a cut down polar fleece blanket. Hence the long johns.

Raewyn your blogs are a joy to read. One brave muher! So the next time you are approached by a shifty man, say 'No molesta' and slice the back of your hand at him like a karate chop. A friend instructed our daughter Claire when she took off to SouthAmerica by herself (and survived).
Hard to believe you get sunburnt during the day, and wear you long johns at night. Raewyn what did you send back to Barcelona, i.e what was no use to you?
