You both seem to be having a ball. So much so that Mum and I are inspired to go backpacking when I retire. (Do they have wheelchair access on the boat?). I have a suggestion-if transferring your pictures onto the site is too complicated, why don't you post me the full memory card and use the second? If you do post it, make sure that you get the originals copied onto a CD, so that you cover the possibility of 'lost in the post'. On the other hand... we could all wait for 6 months!!! I got wiped out in a snowstorm yesterday. I was walking from Battery Park onto Wall St, turned a corner and was knocked off my feet by a 60 mile an hour wind. I was standing on ice, so I slid at speed across the kerb and into a pile of snow! I hastily returned to the Hotel, changed my clothes and took a cab to the office. As usual when I travel, I only have the one pair of shoes, so this morning has been very uncomfortable, walking around on sodden, salt- impregnated leather soles. Oz here I come!! LYLXXXX

Bonjour. Just to let all of you worriers know we've arrived in airlie beach and shall be boarding a small vessel to travel around the whitsundays at 0900 tomorrow. We've both got a couple of stinger suits, charming wetsuits but with pure spandex and extra lycra. Georgie wanted to purchase a hood to cover her lucious locks, but we decided that being stung on the face is a story worth telling. Either way, bound to get you all some stunning photos of georgie and myself wearing these body tights XXXXXX

Georgie And Kp
Hey all...
Just to let you know we're still alive after our trip round the island in a car yesterday... the boys were surprisingly sensible and we weren't actually allowed on any of the proper roads anyway as it was more of a beach buggy than a car to be honest! Becks mate no worries it's not a romance thing with Jamie and Ed, more that they're the only one's who'll talk to us! Haha just kidding, but KP does cramp my style ridculously. We're now sitting in the smallest ferry terminal in the world trying to pass 2 hours before we hop back on the big green fun bus that is Oz Experience. We're off down to Airlie Beach to hop on a boat around the Whitsundays for a few nights. Oh, for any of you pannickers who may have noticed the cyclone warning- it's not coming for us (well with any luck it'll hit KP), it's going up north to Cairns where we've just been. Also Tabz awesome to hear from you, glad you're still alive was starting to worry! Also small tan update... getting VERY brown indeed. Right must dash... going to go sit in the terminal for another hour and a half and play "would you rather" with KP. Love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow you two sound like you are having the time of your lives! You've inspired me to try and get some kind of summer holiday sorted! Nothing like the paradise you're seeing at the moment! I'm curious about the two Leeds lads you two have met...do we have any romances on the cards? Because if so, can I remind you that you're in AUSTRALIA!!! So put the English boys down and keep stalking those surfer dudes! Glad to hear the move over to Cairns all went smoothly and that you're still having a good time. Lots of love xxxxx

Howdy! Mates...fams. We leave the board for a couple of days and we return to this...We feel very loved and honoured to have so many messages. Crikey o' riley, so much has happened in the past couple of days, we,ve moved just about everywhere. We departed from melbourne and flew to a very tropical cairns. It looks and feels like the carribean out here, unbelievable that this is all the same country. No, so we spent a couple of nights there, at a pretty decent hostel, but had quite possibly the most amazing day of my life (no, actually maybe not, but darn close) spent on a sailing ship (w an engine) that whisked us away to the great barrier reef, and a crazy tropical island called green island. Original I know. So yeah, as a small crew of a hippie, a canadian called bones (pretty sure its a self made nickname) and a sunburnt brit (no no no not georgie, a bloke) and a handful of select tourists we sailed off into unchartered waters. We snorkelled, and i held georgie's hand while she panicked about sharks..... There I was telling her it would be fine, when (cue jaws music) and enormous vicious shark swam at us both obviously, I threw myself at it, to save georgie... and now am typing this message with one hand. I'm sure she would've done the same for me. OK, so ive padded it out a bit, but we really did see one, and it was awesome! Then we proceeded to see a big green sea turtle (just like the ones from finding nemo) that literally swam right by our boat (im sure i heard the word duuude being yelled, but im not one to presume.) OK, you say, that must be all, but no, there are many hours in a day.... So we missioned over to green island. Where there is a crocodile sanctuary that was very exciting... Georgie held a baby croc called stevie (aptly named as it was blind) and we followed the crowds to the feeding of the largest croc in captivity (19 feet.) So it all ended, everyone left and we stayed. We were looking at the pictures (theres one of the dude that caught it) and we noticed this man standing with us looked very familiar... So we asked if it was and lo and behold...it was thge same person! So we got a one on one tour...stories about killer crocs and a trip to his house! It was very movie like. Awesome. So tommorow we go to airlie beach, right now we are on magnetic island....v. cool beachside rooms. I need to dress myself so i'll love you all and leave you all X
Georgie
Hi everyone!
At last I've been able to get on the computer to write a wee message and update (as KP seems to have done most of the latest ones...) we are now staying in tropical paradise. A small island called Magnetic Island off the north coast of Oz in a Base Backpackers hostel which is basically loads of log cabins on the beach front with an awesome beach bar and pool. We've made friends!! Two guys that we met in Cairns (Ed and Jaimie) arrived here yesterday so we're using them to drive us round the island today (as to see it you really need a car). Don't worry Mum and Dad, trustworthy blokes from Leeds... we went on an amazing boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef with them on Saturday, a small yacht took us out to a place called Green Island and we went snorkling... soooooooo beautiful. We saw a reef shark and a turtle in one day! The island was beautiful too... but the highlight had to be the croc farm where we met a real life 72 yr old Steve Irwin who's been catching crocs since he can remember, saw the biggest croc in captivity (18ft 9) and I held a baby one. The tan is coming along nicely... fell asleep on the beach yesterday so a little delicate on my back but KP finally said she would describe me as "tanned". YES! We move further down the coast tomorrow to Airlie Beach and from there we'll take a sailing trip around the Whitsundays for a few nights. I cannot believe how beautiful this country is. It's blown me away! As if I need to reiterate... we're having a fantastic time... still... and loving every minute of it here... apart from the snakes, spiders and insects of course. Thank you so much for all the messages, love to you all Gxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ps G mann, please use a last name on this board to avoid confusion!!!, Allira, as you can see we're on the east coast at the mo, will be in touch je te promis!
Mcflute
Just a quick one seeing as though you are in australia! My godfather lives out there in Bonnel bay in New South Wales and I just spoke to him and he said that if you want a slap up meal and the bed for the night you are more than welcome! If you seriously want to pop in just write me an e-mail and I will send you his number!Allthough you probably won't because you have your own agenda, but it's there if you want! Hope all is well and good! I'm off in a week yay!
Lil
