Hey everyone. We are back in christchurch now. The last couple of days in queenstown were a bit boring because all our friends had abandoned us, and jo is now very poor. So i went to cinema twice in about 20 hours. I also found a really cool place called the british lolly shop. They sell only british chocolate and sweets. proper cadbury's.

The journey from queenstown was long, windy and a bit depressing. I did feel quite sick so the easiest thing was just to go to sleep. We are staying at the same hostel but this time we are staying in the girls sanctuary. No boys, you get free shampoo and cond, and you get a free glass of champagne. We are sharing with 2 nice girls from edinburgh.

We didn't do much yesterday, just went to the supermarket, which is a bit of a trek. Today we took a proper walk round the botanic gardens and then i went punting on the river avon. (Jo was too poor) and then i bought myself a new zealand jacket coz the only warm thing i have is my aussie hoodie and the locals don't like it.

This evening i had my first roast dinner since i left home. It was goooood. And i got a yorkshire pudding. So feeling very english today. Tomorrow we are hopefully going to get a bus to brighton pier (bring back memories anyone?) Not that one obviously. Basically i need some sand so i can draw freddie.
