Hey everyone. we are in auckland now. The mauri evening was really good. Very cold though. It was both entertaining and educational and the food was really good and there was so much of it. On the bus back to our hostel the driver got us all to sing something from our own country's and share the culture. So me and jo sang school dinners to the tune of frere jack. It was very amusing and everybody joined in so nobody felt silly or embarrassed.

Yesterday was mainly spent on the bus going to auckland. We saw jonno, our first driver, when we stopped in a place called hobbiton (dedicated to lord of the rings). They had a statue of gollum. We stopped off at the kiwi office to book our trips to the bay of islands.

Today we are very poor coz our may money hasn't come in yet so we are trying to do free things. We went to the art gallery this morning, they have a photography exhibition on at the moment, which was pretty good. We went for a walk in Albert park but there was a graduation ceremony going on today and we managed to get in the way of lots of peoples photos. (oops)

We have booked our accomodation for the cook islands and now are looking forward to being warm again.
