We arrived in Phuket this afternoon to glorious weather! Checked into a guesthouse in Karon which is in between Kata and Patong. Its so unbelievably cheap here, bought a bottle of water and fags today and they only cost 1 pound 20 (no pound sign on this keyboard!) Think we both love it here already although Caroline may take some getting used too as she has never been before - it is so different in culture. Thinking of staying here for a few days and soaking up the rays.
