We arrived in Chiang Mai today and walked around with our rucksacks for about 4 hours checking out accomodation. As Chiang Mai is inland we wanted to make sure we had a pool, so we were being quite fussy!! We eventually found somewhere which was reasonably priced and had a pool and its right opposite the 'Night Market' which is cool.

Think we are going to really enjoy Chiang Mai as everyone seems really friendly and helpful and whats more its the cheapest place in Thailand - think maybe because its in the north??
